The year is 1956, the Junior Annual Dance is off and away. A young girl named Mary Carrington (Michelle Williams), a loner, who is taunted everyday, is killed in a so called harmless prank. The seven teens that brought Mary to her demise have kept it a secret, a secret that will never be told. Fiftty years later, A group of friends Annalyse (Cortney Dewick), Zack (Luke Hudswell), Heather (Millie Caamano), Clarisse (Gemma Walker), Miranda (Stormi-Lee Poulton), Kaley (Tamara Imber) and Joshua (Alex McIntyre), who are also the grandchildren of the one that took away Mary's life. They start to talk about a ghost story. A ghost story that they have all known about since they were children- Bloody Mary. That night, at Clarisse's sleepover, Joshua is eager to test the urban legend out. To see if she does really exist. Oblivious to Joshua and the others, doing this would unleash an evil that has been living under the earth for fifty years. The death toll starts to rise, one grizly murder after another and soon the group finds themselves running for their lives. It turns into a race against time as everyday a new victim merges. Can the surviving ones stop Mary before they all end up in body bags? Forget about seven years bad luck, they'll be lucky to make it through the week!
